About Mobile Development Course

One of the most exciting opportunities at FutureDev is our course on mobile app design and development, led by me, Ethan Pineda. As a senior at Northwestern University pursuing a BA/MS in Computer Science with a minor in Latino/a Studies, I bring a blend of technical expertise and a passion for mentorship to this course. My interest in Computer Science are within distributed systems, embedded systems, and computer systems. My professional experiences include creating full-stack web and mobile applications and building distributed systems for AI Agents. I am the technology director for Mayfest Productions, Technical Lead for Develop & Innovate for Social Change, and Vice President of Emerging Coders

This course is designed to inspire and equip you with the skills needed to build mobile applications from the ground up. Whether you're interested in creating user-friendly interfaces, integrating back-end systems, or exploring the future of app design, this is the perfect place to start. Together, we'll explore tools like React Native, TypeScript, and NativeWind while focusing on hands-on projects to turn your ideas into reality. Join our group to discover the power of mobile development and bring your creative vision to life!
